Pianist • Music Director /Vocal Coach • Creative Director Darius Frowner is a New York–based pianist, music director, host, arts educator, and creative collaborator.  His work spans Broadway and musical theater repertoire, cabaret, pop music, live events, arts education, and international performance projects. Known for combining strong musical instincts with storytelling, atmosphere, and audience connection, Darius creates emotionally engaging experiences that help performers and audiences feel connected, supported, and fully present. His work includes music direction in national and international venues, vocal coaching, custom arrangements, hosting, concert and event programming and artist collaboration. He creates memorable live experiences for audiences ranging from intimate cabaret spaces to large arts and community events. A longtime presence in New York City’s cabaret and downtown arts  scene, Darius has led and curated performances at venues including The Duplex and  54 Below. His collaborative work has included Broadway artists such as Norm Lewis (Kennedy Center) along with performers across theater, nightlife, and arts education communities. In addition to performance and event work, Darius serves as a teaching artist and music director with many organizations. These organizations include  Mayo Performing Arts Center,Denver Theater Of The Performing Arts and The Miracle Project (a program for differently abled children). Darius specializes in helping performers of varied backgrounds and abilities develop confidence, communication, creativity, and stage presence through music and theater.His recent work has expanded internationally through master classes and collaborations in Italy, as well as producing a cabaret revue in London’s West End in 2025. Darius has worked for many years with the McDonald’s Corporation on a television special for Black History Month. Whether behind the piano, leading a room, shaping an event, or supporting performers onstage, Darius brings a balance of musical excellence,  adaptability, and creative leadership to every project.
